Motorcycle driver hits child, 2, then flees; victim airlifted to hospital, Pasco fire rescue says

The incident occurred some time before 7:45 p.m. Sunday in Port Richey.

PORT RICHEY — A motorcycle driver ran into a 2-year-old child Sunday evening in Port Richey then fled, according to Pasco County Fire Rescue.

The child was flown by medical helicopter from the scene, a neighborhood of single family homes in the 7300 block of two-lane Oak Crest Dr. News that rescue workers were on the scene was released about 7:45 p.m. No other information was immediately available.
