Many folks will tell you that only 1%er motorcycle clubs have Properties. In fact Squirt’s Biker Page defines properties in this way:“Property of”- A “property of” patch is typically worn by female members of an outlaw club/ 1% club to denote membership in that club. Citizens are often taken aback by the “property of” patch as, on the surface, it denotes ownership of another. However, the “property of” patch has a different meaning in the MC world. Within this world, the “property of” patch serves as a WARNING to others outside the club that the female member wearing this patch is to be respected the same as a fully patched male member and that the female member warrants the same protections as their male counterparts. This patch does not make the female member equal within club hierarchy.

And from that description one could logically assume that only 1%er clubs have women who wear the property of patches. Especially if you are of the belief that one percenter clubs and outlaw clubs are the same thing. But in fact there is a difference between one percenter clubs and outlaw clubs that most people in today’s MC world don’t recognize, as the meanings have become almost synonymous over the years. But there is a difference between outlaw clubs and 1%er clubs, even if they seem to operate the exact same way. But it may surprise you that 99%er MCs and traditional MCs also have properties. And in these clubs the term means exactly the same thing as it means in 1%er MC nations.
The question comes down to whether or not your MC can protect its properties if it decides to put the property of patch on them. And that’s truly the only question an MC should consider before attempting to step up to this level of MC’ing. If you cannot protect your properties, if you have them, then your MC is worthless. So there are other names clubs can use for their women cadre that may not such as rash statement as a club makes when it declares that it maintains properties and you better not damned mess with one of them, or disrespect them in any way, or else.
