How many times have you heard the myth that MC meant men’s club and that’s why women can’t join? It seems to be pervasive in our culture that men keep telling this lie, that somewhere in the history of MC antiquity the term “MC” meant men’s club and women were never allowed to join!

This is completely not the truth! In fact the original motorcycle clubs, if you go back in history and look at their names, were never called the “such-and-such men’s club.” They were always called motorcycle clubs!
