Priorities

Officer positions are not privileges or entitlements. They are responsibilities and obligations. People who love their Club more than they are in love with themselves typically do the best. It is a culture thing. None of this is on one person. You are a team first. You almost have to treat it like kids. You cannot be over your kids shoulder 24/7. You have to raise them right so that even when you are not there they know what to do. They conduct themselves with honor and do not cause the Club problems. It isn’t how much control you have to enforce; but about how well the members represent the Patch they wear. The best teams are the ones who know what to do before you have to tell them. And you already know how each member will react. Because collectively they put the Club first.
