A 52-year-old man has been charged with causing the death of a motorcyclist in a crash in the Highlands.
Ross James Dominick, 35, from Johnstone, died at the scene on the A82 at Buachaille Etive Beag car park, near Glencoe, at about 12:00 Sunday.
The crash involving a BMW motorbike and a Mazda CX5 resulted in the road being closed for more than seven hours.
Enrique Maffiote, from Tenerife, appeared at Inverness Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
He made no plea to a charge of causing Mr Dominick’s death by careless driving.
Mr Maffiote was committed for further examination and released on bail.
Police are appealing for information in relation to the crash.
Insp Scott Deans said: “Our thoughts are with Ross’ family and friends at this difficult time.
“Our inquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances and we would ask anyone with information which has not yet been passed to police to contact us.”
