Biker Gang Intervenes As Ohio Woman Drags Husband by Car After He Asks for Divorce

Crashawn Williams allegedly trapped her husband’s arm in a car and drove off, badly damaging his heels in the wild ride

An Ohio man is still recovering from an incident in June where he was dragged about a half-mile down the street by a car his wife was driving — and thankful to a concerned group of bikers and ATV drivers who intervened enough to slow down the car so he could escape.

Local station WOIO reported that Crashawn Williams, 38, pleaded guilty to aggravated assault and domestic violence in court this week.

After Erik Jones asked Williams for a divorce, police said Williams, while sitting in the driver’s seat of a car outside their home in Cleveland Heights, snatched her husband’s phone from his hands. Her husband, who had been outside the vehicle, attempted to retrieve it by sticking his arm in the window.

But Williams rolled up the window, trapping Jones’ arm, and allegedly drove off.

Jones told police a group of ATVs and motorcycles were trying to intervene and have Williams slow down.

When Williams eventually slowed the vehicle, Jones broke the window and removed his arm.

“Once the bikers — once they surrounded the car to slow it down — I broke the glass, I broke the window with my elbow,” Jones told WOIO, showing off his the scar on his arm.

The victim said his feet were badly damaged during the incident.

“I don’t got no heels, man, I gotta see (about) plastic surgery,” Jones said, according to an earlier WOIO report published Monday.

The couple had been married for 18 months.
