A member of the Key West outlaw Pagan motorcycle gang was arrested in a teen sex solicitation case, authorities said.
Derek Marshall Queen, 43, was arrested Monday on charges of obscene communication with a minor, lewd and lascivious behavior toward a minor, soliciting a minor for prostitution, transmitting harmful material to a minor, use of a two-way communication device to facilitate a felony, and destruction of evidence, Monroe County Sheriff’s Office officials said.

Authorities said Queen had contacted a person he believed to be a 14-year-old girl online, but it was actually an undercover investigator.
Queen allegedly propositioned the person for sex, despite repeatedly acknowledging that he believed the person was underage, and sent multiple images showing him exposed and pleasuring himself, authorities said.
After a joint investigation involving the FBI, U.S. Homeland Security Investigations, the Naval Criminal Investigative Service, and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement, Queen was arrested and booked into jail.
Queen is no stranger to law enforcement. In March of 2024, he was arrested on kidnapping, battery and robbery charges after he and two other Pagan members beat up a rival gang member on Big Pine Key, authorities said.
He was also arrested in Miami-Dade last year for illegal possession of a firearm and arrested in 2019 for battery and illegal possession of Oxycodone, the sheriff’s office said.
Queen was booked into jail on a $1 million bond, authorities said.
In a video message posted on social media on Tuesday, Monroe Sheriff Rick Ramsay said he’s working to have Queen’s probation in the kidnapping case terminated and have his pre-trial release revoked on the Miami-Dade firearm charge.
Ramsay said multiple Pagan members have been arrested on a variety of violent charges in recent years.
“These individuals are not good people, and they’ve done a lot of damage and continue to focus on fear, intimidation, threats, a bunch of bullies, so we’re not gonna tolerate that crap for sure,” Ramsay said in the video. “Pagans are not your friends.”
