Alleged Member of Outcast MC Shot at Family’s Car on Highway

Biker allegedly shot at family’s car on highway while wearing ‘bullet-resistant vest’

CENTERVILLE, Tenn. (WKRC) – A family was forced into a terrifying situation when a random motorcyclist wearing a “bullet-resistant vest” allegedly fired at their car with a pistol while driving down the highway.

According to a press release from the Limestone County Sheriff’s Office, a driver called 911 on May 31 to report “that a man on a motorcycle fired shots at him and his family while they were traveling” on the highway.

“The gunfire struck the victim’s vehicle, endangering the lives of the occupants,” the release read.

Deputies quickly tracked down the cyclist and pulled him over around 10 miles from where the initial crime was reported, per the release. The man was reportedly identified as 30-year-old Jason Jermain Johnson.

“During the arrest, Johnson was found in possession of a loaded pistol two additional loaded magazines, and was wearing a bullet-resistant vest beneath an Outcast Motorcycle Club vest,” the sheriff’s office wrote in the release.

Johnson was arrested and charged with shooting into an occupied vehicle and three counts of attempted murder. The department did not release a motive for the shooting.
