SEATTLE — A grieving wife who wants the hit-and-run driver who killed her husband earlier this month to come forward and accept responsibility for their actions is speaking out about the fatal crash and how it has changed her life.
Robert “Robb” Mason, 63, died after being struck on July 15 during his bike commute from West Seattle by the low bridge.
Police have made no arrests and are still searching for the driver who struck Mason
Claudia Mason, his wife, made her urgent plea hours before a memorial bike ride was scheduled to be held Friday evening at 7 p.m. from Westlake Center to the site he was killed along SW Spokane Street and 11th Avenue in West Seattle.

His widow said Mason was a beloved husband, son and friend who was considered kind and charismatic. He worked as a massage therapist who tried to heal hundreds of people.
He was also the love of Claudia Mason’s life.
“I will miss most his companionship because in the end that’s what really matters,” she said. “First thing I have to do, is find the will to live because I can now understand why people lose the will to live.”
